This Christmas is a Christmas like no other. It seems that God is so heavily seeking to reach out to His people in a way that His people are not used to. Way back in September, I began to sense the heavy hand of God for this season and it was so heavy I did not know how to handle it. It brought me some pain and some struggles that got chaotic at some point but in the end God came through.
In November, God began to show me some very deep revelations about what HE was doing and going to do in the season. First of all I became aware that he was not going to deal with me on a monthly basis not on a yearly basis. You know how we always like to label our months and years. I would always say January is my month of breakthrough, February is my month of release, March is my month of uplifting and so on and so forth. Now please don’t get me wrong, I am not saying that’s wrong. I just realized that God was saying to me in November that He has a calendar for me and HE was operating with me by seasons and not monthly or yearly. I noticed that in His calendar I have been in the same season for the past 2 years and I have not come out of that season, HE is still dealing with me in that season. For some of you, you have been in a season of a financial correction, for some it has been a relationship season for you, for some it has been a health issue for you, for some it has been Marriage season for you etc.
It is not enough that we build products that function, that are understandable and usable, we also need to build products that bring joy and excitement, pleasure and fun, and, yes, beauty to people’s lives. Creativity is to discover a question that has never been asked. If one brings up an idiosyncratic question, the answer he gives will necessarily be unique as well.
So let me tell you one thing about 2019, this Christmas and this season. God told me that as I enter this coming year, it is not a new year that means new things all together. We make the mistake a lot of thinking January can start a brand new season for us without realizing that January 1 is just a day after December 31st. God told me I was entering a very important phase of the season I am in. I cannot claim a new season without understanding that the NEW can only replace the OLD. It is not NEW, if there was no OLD. There is no OLD wine skin if we don’t realize that when the old wine is finished, we need new wine skins to carry the new wine that’s coming. So before you go claiming a NEW thing that God is doing, have you realized the old.
God wants us to pass the test that we have been going through in the OLD, so that HE can bring the NEW. God wants us to realize that the Purpose for the NEW is so that He can do away with the OLD and what it has done to His Kingdom and His people. God wants us to to enter the NEW because we have been struggling with the OLD The Significance of the NEW is tied to the death of the OLD
So please join me this year and not wait for a NEW THING God is going to do, but realize that you have been going through a season and what you are entering now is a new phase of something that God has been doing with you for a very long time.
